Who We Are
Driven by a passion to produce the best quality work and provide the best customer service
J-P Daeschler started his career in 1988 at small provincial gunmakers in Scotland, aged sixteen, where he specialised in gun stock making and finishing.
Since then, the business of J-P Daeschler Gunmakers has grown considerably, now established in South East England and servicing the London gun trade and retail clients as well as many international customers.
The main focus continues to be on stock making, repair, renovation and servicing but now complimented by building complete new guns to order under the J·P· Daeschler brand.

Gun Making
Manufacturing bespoke Side by Side and Over and Under shotguns which are designed and hand-crafted entirely in the United Kingdom.
Every process in building our guns is carried out in the UK and clients are invited to be as involved in the process as they wish.
A bespoke gun gives the client many possibilities in what can ultimately be achieved in building their dream gun.
Restoration and Service
A sympathetic restoration service to bring your gun back to life, complemented by a comprehensive repair service.
From preventative maintenance to making and fitting parts in a traditional manner, just as they were when the gun was originally made.
Our team of London trained gunmakers can comfortably rebuild or re-manufacture any part for your gun including new locks, stocks and barrels.

Retail of classic hunting guns from some of the finest makers
We carry a selection of guns from some of the finest makers and using our network of premium dealers, we can source the right gun for you. We work in partnership with two firearms retailers in the USA, helping the import process to be smooth and straight-forward.
Daeschler Precision Tools
Design, manufacture and retail of premium gunstock chequering cutters which are used by some of the finest gunmakers and stockmakers in the world.
Made from stainless steel and control hardened to Rockwell standard, our tools are precision eroded and ground to produce a durable and sharp superior cutting tool compared to anything else available on the market.
